Baskın Güvener is an interior architect and industrial designer born in Ankara in 1950. He received his art education from prominent Turkish artists and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts. His works focus on drawing and painting using charcoal, watercolor, and ceramic tile art. He documents the architectural heritage of Anatolian, Ottoman, Byzantine, and Carian–Lycian civilizations. Güvener served as a lecturer at Yeditepe University between 2002 and 2013. He currently lives in Bodrum and continues teaching art and design.
